How often do you have to move a pile of "stuff" in order to use a common tool, like your paper trimmer?

I refuse to answer.....lol which is why I asked (so I hope I'm not the only one)

I have a bad habit of stacking completed pages on my paper trimmer so I have to move them whenever I need to cut something. I'm trying to do better about putting my pages away when I'm finished.

My piles are on the floor so not too often.

I get clutter like pens, scissors, little odds and ends. I have a couple of small baskets and can sweep the junk into those. I have to move stacks of printed sketches or patterned paper to use the Cameo, since it needs room for the mat. Another set of sterlite drawers or some more shelving might help, but probably my clutter will just expand to fill the space.
