January 8 - Out With the Old Challenge

Join us all month long in January as we post challenges with the focus of scrapping with our unused stash!
Let's face it, we all have a scrappy stash …. things that we are hoarding, forgot we had, never got around to using … yeah, you know you have it, too!
So join us as we say
“OUT WITH THE OLD . . . IN WITH THE NEW!”
My challenge for you today is all about Embellishments plus use your older stash! Use 15 or more of the same embellishment.
Any embellishment! Brads, Chipboard, Eyelets, Flowers, Diecuts, etc. 
I used 50 Mini Brads on this layout plus some older Simple Stories 'Sub Zero' papers.
Sorry for the shadows from my darn scanner!
Cozy Wintertime
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

Now that's a great challenge! Love your page....how did you manage to get all those brads in a perfect circle????

I used a Bazzill Stitching Template. Great for stitching circles, but I've also used it a few times to add mini-brads.

I used fifteen shades of blue (all from my scrap bin) for my embellishments on this layout. She asked for a "poofy" dress for Christmas. The big day just wore her out.

I used up at least 15 of these little paper flowers I've had forever.
The papers are from My Mind's Eye - Indy Chic from 2012!
