Join us all month long in January as we post challenges with the focus of scrapping with our unused stash!
Let's face it, we all have a scrappy stash …. things that we are hoarding, forgot we had, never got around to using … yeah, you know you have it, too!
So join us as we say “OUT WITH THE OLD . . . IN WITH THE NEW!”
Here is my project for today...
I have had this stash of Bella Blvd Illustrated Faith "CHRISTmas" collection for a few years. Every time I peruse my Christmas stash, this line captures my attention. I love the colors, the patterns, the embellishments...But for some reason, I always bypass it when I'm making Christmas pages. NOT THIS TIME! I thought it would be PERFECT to use for an out with the old, in with the new project. I took this picture of my German Shepherd the day after Christmas enjoying his new bone and squeaky toys under my Christmas tree. I thought the colors of the paper would be perfect to highlight this picture.
Also, today is sketch day! I used a sketch from my DT Sketches in Thyme created by "Laura Creates" to pull this project together.
Your goal...create a project using a favorite line from your stash that you have had for a while using this sketch as your guide.
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
