Have you ever used fabric on a layout? Is it a gone by way the technique? Is it something that we should bring back?

I only ask because yesterday I ran into a layout I did with fabric. Sometimes to me it looks too bunchy. It was a page about an ancestor so it kinda fit the time of the photo.

I haven't done that in a long time. Maybe I should break out my stash of fabric again.

I wasn't into it, to begin with, so I doubt I will willing to bring it back to my LOs.

I have a few fabric strips I've used as banners on a layout many years ago. I haven't thought about those in a long time, but maybe I'll try them again. I think they might have been too bulky.

I love using them for ruffles!

I've only ever used it once. It was a Halloween layout with G dressed as a mummy, and I used a couple of small strips of muslin from his actual costume on the page. Love the page, but like Patti, not really ever a fan, so I probably would never do it again either.
