October 21st - Gallery Lift / Soup of the Day

During the month of October - Cookin' Up Creations is going to be doing a bit of 'PAPER PAD BASHING". So grab your favorite 6x6, 6x8, 8x8 or 12x12 paper pad and join us in a month of Pad Bashing.
This month we'll be using sketches, and lifting several different layouts, with the goal to put a dent in that Paper Pad that we know you've been hoarding. We may not get through the whole pad, but we'll have fun trying. *be sure to post a picture of your Paper Pad prior to starting!
Today we are lifting this terrific layout by Jan! I loved all of the leaves behind the photos. I chose to use some fabric flowers behind my Prima flowers.
Don't forget to leave her some love!!
Here is my lift:
You must use at least 3 different patterned papers from your chosen paper pad and 1 pattern must be floral!
*BONUS entry points if you also make two (2) cards with your scraps & use bakers twine and/or ribbon on your cards.
A new Blue Plate Special challenge will be posted every Monday (sketch), Wednesday, and Friday. All participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
