October 5th Sketch Challenge

This month we'll be using sketches, and lifting several different layouts, with the goal to put a dent in that Paper Pad that we know you've been hoarding. We may not get through the whole pad, but we'll have fun trying. *be sure to post a picture of your Paper Pad prior to starting!
For the sketch challenge you may - use any three (3) different patterned papers from your chosen Paper Pad, but one pattern must be striped and your layout must include the use of buttons on your page.
* BONUS entry points if you also make two (2) cards with your scraps.
I chose this sketch by Laura Whitaker that I had pinned on Pinterest.
And here's what I came up with.
A new Blue Plate Special challenge will be posted every Monday (sketch), Wednesday, and Friday. All participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
