Join us all month long in February as we focus on all the things we love . . .our families, our pets, food, and even our scrapbook supplies! The options are literally never ending!! We're also going to continue with the "scrap your stash" mindset and continue using things that we have on hand . . . So, What things do YOU Love??

One thing I love is learning. I want the subject of your layout to focus on learning in some way. The picture I used for my layout is one of my son's first days of "school"!



A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery. Prize will be a $10 Gift Certificate to their online store of choice.
*any month that we have more than 50 completed layouts/creations, the prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate instead of $10.

I just learned this morning more about the winter vortex. Evidently it builds up swirling cold air masses and drops them down on us when we have these terrible cold days. They become less powerful as they lose the compact spinning air.

My grandma used to say " you should learn something each day". I love this cool challenge.
