It is 355 am , my question is ... Do you ever have problems sleeping? If so what do you do to help?

Obviously from the time of my question I do! Have forever but oddly I have found recently I have been falling asleep easy almost to easy, except for today! I can't just lay there when I can't sleep so I either get up and do cleaning, scrapping or lay in bed on my tablet,.

Once I'm asleep I'm ok...it's just falling asleep that's my problem. I usually lay in bed at night playing on my phone til 12-12:30 until my eyes are tired. My body was exhausted hours prior....

Of course we know that playing on our phones/tablets is the worst way to try to fall asleep. Or so the research says. I sometimes have trouble, but usually not. I, too, read on my tablet to fall asleep. It usually only takes 10-15 minutes. If I am having trouble falling asleep, I definitely resist the urge to look at the phone/tablet. I just lie still and try to relax all my muscles, count sheep, etc.
If it's really bad I will go to another room and lie down, maybe turn on TV softly. But I resist the urge to get on my devices. They say it is counter-productive. I think it has given me eye strain/dry eye.

Having a new puppy prevents an all night sleep. She loves to go crazy ringing the bell about 3:30 to go out and do her business. I don't have much trouble going back to sleep though unless the bear is ten yards away. He has not been back to visit since Saturday morning, Hoping he realized I am not afraid of him so he can go scare some other neighbor!

I create stories and edit and do rewrites in my head and suddenly I'm asleep and it's morning!

I'm usually up and down all night. Sleeping with 4 dogs, sometimes 5 makes it nearly impossible to sleep all night without interruptions. Keeping the room cold helps some but every time I get up and go to the bathroom I have to push all the dogs back over to their side of the bed.

I have a lot of restless nights
To help with my sleep I do yoga stretches and a calming sleep tea

I have a cpap so sleeping once I go to sleep pretty much works unless I have a night of stingy feet because of my neurapathy. Guess that wasn't a very good answer to help you!
