our 9th Birthday here at Cookin' up Creations!!
Challenges will be based on the "Birthday Theme"....but not necessarily about birthdays!!
Don't worry if you don't have any birthday pictures as the possibilities are limitless! Trust me, there'll be enough different challenges for everyone.
You ARE NOT going to want to miss out on this month-long celebration!
New Blue Plate Special challenges are posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
The prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing) .....
Welcome to a new month of challenges here at Cookin Up Creations! I'm kicking off our month of birthday themed celebrations with a sketch and a wrapping paper challenge. My daughter turned 21 last month...It does not seem possible. My husband and I took a road trip to her college to celebrate her special day complete with cupcakes, presents, and her dog. I decided pics of her celebration would be perfect to kick off our monthly challenge! My challenge to you is to not only use this fun sketch created by Lisa Hidy at Sketch N Scrap, but also to rip your paper as if you are opening a birthday present. As an added bonus, add a little sparkle to your project. I added glittery flowers with rhinestones to add some bling. I'm excited to see how you interpret this challenge!
