Scrapbooking has always been in my blood beginning as far back as a child. When did you get an interest in Scrapbooking?

I scrapbooked in my teens every date that I went on. Fortunately for me they were far and few between.   When my kids were young it was hard to stay focused on scrapbooking when I had to get out the supplies each time to make it happen. Once we finished the basement and moved the kids downstairs it freed up some space to have a table set up all the time and leave the supplies out so it made it easier to get more done. And here I am decades later getting so much more done than I ever imagined.

I started messing around with pictures and journaling in college, and when my kids were teens, I really got into it in a much bigger way, and today I have more pages than I know what to do with.

I always wanted to make cards. I would spend hours in Hallmark stores picking out cards and wondering if I could make similar ones. Then when I started working at Michaels I took a card making class and that led to scrapping.

I did keep photos and memorabilia in high school and put them in an album. Scrapbooking the way I do now with patterned papers and embellishments began with the upcoming arrival of our first grandchild nearly 25 years ago. Thought it would be a great way to preserve memories for her. Now with 9 grandkids and many vacations I've done alot of scrapping. :)

I had a scrapbook of Duran Duran in High School, which is still in a box in storage somewhere, but never knew there was an actual "scrapbooking" thing until the late 1990s . . .long before G was ever born, and Jackie was pretty young! I just remember a coworker inviting me to a Creative Memories party, and I was hooked from that point on.
