They're creepy, they're kooky, and your layouts will be spooky!
Join us this November for a frightfully fun month of Addams Family-inspired scrapbooking challenges! Whether you're channeling Wednesday’s deadpan wit, Morticia’s gothic glam, or Uncle Fester’s electrifying energy, there’s something for every macabre memory maker.

Dig up your darkest papers, eerie embellishments, and mysterious mementos—because it’s time to get Altogether Ooky with your creativity!
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

Today I thought we would focus on Grandmama Addams. This disrespectful old hag is the mother of Gomez and sometimes during the run of the sitcom, she was sometimes Morticia's mother, but she was always grandmama to Wednesday and Pugsley. She willingly helps with the dishes, cheats at solitaire and is thoroughly dishonest. She, too, is a favorite with the children and will make them cookies in the shape of bats, skulls and bones. Good humored about all and can be garrulous. The complexion is dark, the hair is white and frizzy and uncombed. She has a light beard and a large mole. She wears a shawl on all occasions, thick socks and fleece slippers under a bombazine skirt.

Your challenge today is to scrap a photo of a grandmama/grandmother. This can be a photo of you with your grandchild or grandchildren. I also want you to include a single brad, eyelet, enamel dot or button to represent the mole on grandmama's Addams face and a white background to represent her white, uncombed hair. I also want you to include a tab somewhere on your layout.
Here's my layout of my mother holding her great grandchild, Peyton.
