Happy Veterans Day. Thankful for all those you serve of us.

I have to make a run to Walmart this morning. I still have a stone to pass. This tiny thing is taking forever. We have to set up tables and decorate this afternoon for our dinner and presentation from Al Rounds (a Watercolor Artist). Thank goodness my hubby and a couple other men are there to help. Worked on my surprise Birthday scrapbook for DH last night. I have it almost done. I need to get on to other layouts.
This is the longest Fall I can remember. Such nice weather and by now we have usually had snow.

Woke up to temps in the low 30's this morning! Very unusual for us this time of year. Supposed to be the same tonight. So glad we don't have to go anywhere today! Think I'll bake some cookies to help warm up the house and then some scrappy time.

I put my snow boots on and went to mass this am. Is topped to pick up the mail and the door was locked...., ZDUH, then I remembered it is closed for Veterans Day. Then home to eat brunch with hubby. We watched some taped shows and then I went to the thrift store to help put out Christmas items to sell. I have meatballs cooking in the crock pot. I will scrap this afternoon. I have bible study tonight

I have an appointment with my endocrinologist today. On the long drive right now to get there.

Hope you pass that stone soon, Tamara!! I've had those years ago and one led to sepsis. Was not a fun time. Was in the hospital for about a week.

We have several in the family who served. Most recently my nephew was a medic. He's been to Afghanistan and some of those places. He came home and works in a VA hospital now.

I've been scrapping all morning. I had my 4th Chemotherapy Treatment yesterday. Gotta get the things done while I have energy and feel good. We ran out for a few errands and lunch today. It was very busy with traffic. I imagine because of the holiday.

I think Mother Nature switched us places with you. Our temps have all been higher than usual and although we got so much rain in a couple of days we are now having a dry spell and our days have been wonderful.

Thanks Deanna, it is taking it gay ol time. But the pain isn't that bad so it is bearable. Hope you get your chemo finished soon.
