October 31, 2025 The Jetsons: A Timeless Table

Join us all month long as we zoom into a Jetsons-inspired world of themed challenges that are out of this world! Whether you're cropping in your space pod or journaling from Orbit City, you’ll be saying, “Jane, stop this crazy craft!”
From robot butlers to astro-antics, we’ve got futuristic prompts to spark your creativity and launch your layouts into hyperspace. So grab your glitter, power up your die-cutter, and get ready to scrap like it’s 2062!
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
For our final challenge of the month, we’re taking inspiration from The Jetsons at the table.
Even in a world of flying cars and robot helpers, one thing never changes, the joy of being together around the table.
Your Challenge:
Create a layout that celebrates being together at the table. It could be a family meal, coffee with friends, a celebration, or any gathering that centers around food and connection.
Requirements:
1. Include a table scene or gathering as your main photo or story.
2. Add a little sparkle or shine, think metallics, foil, glitter, or anything with a futuristic touch.
3. Use light blue somewhere on your page to represent the Jetsons’ sky.
4. Optional bonus: add a subtle nod to the future like stars, or hearts orbiting around your picture, or something whimsical and spacey.
Here is my example using a picture of the family together eating breakfast when we visited Jorgie and his wife in Tennessee.
