When you are traveling by car, how many hours a day do you drive before you stop?

Typically, we usually do 6 to 7 hours a day of course there’s an extra hour for all of our bathroom stops and eating lunch.

However, we just went to death Valley and drove 10 hours the day going, and the day coming home. It makes for a long day in the car, but it worked this time.

We’ve always driven straight through, switching drivers and stopping for gas and bathroom breaks.

Glad you had a good trip, Tamara! It depends if we're planning on stopping the night. We've driven straight through to Florida and Alabama like 14 hrs. or so. Makes for a very long day and then you're tired for a few.

We drive between 6 and 8 hours.
