When completing a class kit, do you stick to the teachers guide and follow it exact or do you put your own spin on it?

I do both but mostly follow the teachers guide. if there is a piece missing I go rogue or if there is room for extra pages on the project I will add some of my own design

I usually follow the teacher’s guide pretty closely, especially at first because I want to learn something new and understand their creative process. Even if the style isn't exactly my own, I feel like there's always something to take away. After all, I invested a lot in the class, so I want to get the most out of it. Later, I might add a personal touch once I’ve grasped the technique. I’m a rule follower at heart :D :D 8-)

The only time I have done class kits is at a retreat, and I ended up doing my own thing because it was for a mini album, and I don't do anything but 12 x 12.

I've bought scrap kits and usually follow the guidelines. I do like to add my own spin on it

I mostly follow the teacher's guide but have been known to make a change or two.

I’ve never taken a class.
