Cookin' Up Creations

This month is coming to an end. Do you any special plans for summer? trips? remodeling? reading a series of books?

I want to continue and persevere at cleaning my whole house. I need to move all furniture and clean walls and baseboards and backs of dressers etc. I've done small parts and that is manageable. I've got one bedroom almost finished.

We are going to Death Valley again the end of June. It's to get Dark Sky photos of the Milky Way. Hope DH can tolerate the heat for a short time. The hotel rooms are half price but it is the early start of higher temps so I think we should be fine.

We are going to Disney for 4 days in June. Both granddaughters are graduating this year, one from high school and the other from middle school, so that is their present from their parents. I'm not really looking forward to it, I know dh is going to have a hard time since he tires so easily. However, I am looking forward to seeing everyone.

We don’t have any big plans, just trying to recuperate and recover to be ready to go visit the grandbaby in November or December.

No trips planned. I just want to get this surgery behind me so I can enjoy the rest of my summer. And like Phillis, I want to clean my house.

We are working on daughter Marla's new house. She needs a wall put up to separate her bedroom from the hallway. We are having a wall replaced in the living room. The ground is shifting and one wall is bowing in. Have some of the grandkids a couple weeks in June. That's about all I'm thinking of getting done.
