How often do your children call you to chat? How often do you call your own parents to chat?

When both my parents were alive, I called them every other week. Once Dad passed, I called Mom weekly. Of course this was before cellphones so I had to pay for the call which could last a couple of hours.
Dh and his daughter talk every Wednesday night for hours. They are super close and I can't believe some of the things she tells him. I get on the call for a few minutes with them.

We talk to our kids everyday. Of course, Jerry is home for a while, but when he wasn’t he would call every day. Jorgie calls almost every day too. I usually talk to my mom daily.

Both sets of parents are gone but when they were alive we would talk at least weekly.
Sadly our kids only call when they need something I would say I call them more than they call me. They do come to dinner once a month.

I call my kids about once a week. I text with them several times a week. When my parents were alive I didn't call them often, but I went to visit every week or then almost everyday to my mom's once my dad passed
