RQOTD 4/25

I’m going to a gravesite ceremony with kent for his aunt that passed away this winter.

Do you go to wakes, funerals, or celebrations of life?

I haven't been to any in years. It seems like a lot of people aren't having them anymore. Both my parents didn't want them and my Aunt just passed on Easter and they're not having anything for her either.

I go to several funerals. I recently went to a Celebration of life last week for a friends that passed. It was good to hear of how her family implemented her love for them in their talks. I always enjoy learning things I didn't know about someone. It makes you appreciate their friendship even more after they are gone and you can relate to the qualities she (or he) had.
