It is a hybrid. I print out my base paper so that I can get a background that I like and don't have to mess with my paints and sprays, and then add all the elements that are applied to the background like I would with any totally paper LO. If I want to add more splatters at the end, I do use paint/ink for them. I also used digital stamps for backgrounds because I have very few stamps. I figure I still have to lay it all out and design the background so it is just as much, if not more work for me than using paint...I just can't stand the mess I make with the paint.
