our 8th Birthday here at Cookin' up Creations!!
Challenges will be based on the "Birthday Theme"....but not necessarily about birthdays!!
Don't worry if you don't have any birthday pictures as the possibilities are limitless! Trust me, there'll be enough different challenges for everyone.
You ARE NOT going to want to miss this month-long celebration!
New Blue Plate Special challenges are posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
The prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing) .....
Happy Monday & St. Patrick's Day everyone! For today's birthday themed sketch, I'm featuring my favorite St. Patrick's Day birthday girl, my cousin! I don't have a sister, but she's been the closest thing I've got to one for most of my adult life. A few years ago, she and I took a girl's trip to Boston, Massachusetts, and we had so much fun! This is her and I hanging out at Harvard. Someone volunteered to take our picture, and I think they captured our relationship perfectly. My challenge to you for today is to not only use the sketch that is the featured at Sketch N Scrap right now, but also to create a project that celebrates a special person in your life. Because it is St. Patrick's Day, I also challenge you to use green in some way on your project. Finally, in honor of the four-leaf clover, use at least four patterned papers on your layout (which is easy to do with this particular sketch). I'm excited to see what everyone comes up with for today's challenge.
