Look at the cameras and make sure the alarm is on. Also I turn on all the outside lights.

I would turn on all the lights both inside and outside and make sure my phone is by my side.

I peek through the blinds and find out it was a cat that triggered the lights or realize it is on the main road two blocks away.

You would be surprised how well sound travels in the night.

I would just stay quiet and still inside my house and hope the noise stops soon
