Not my idea. I saw this on Youtube recently and thought I would share it.

Ball up a paper towel, wrap it with some type of plastic saran wrap, add a rubberband or a clip of some sort to hold it close. Smoosh your distress ink pad or sprtiz your sprays on an acrylic stamping block and spray with water. Smear the water and ink, pick up with your new pouncer to add splotches of ink to your cards or layout backgrounds. Voila!
You can make your pouncer as large or as small as you want. I used this little tool on my last two layouts.
