center]Frosty the Snowman[/center]
Everybody LOVES Frosty the Snowman. Since his premiere in 1969, Frosty is a character we all remember fondly. Our magical snowman doesn’t know much about the world, but he’s so full of love and cheer that he makes us all so happy.
Join us all month long as we share that "same happiness" with YOU!
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing)....
I love that Frosty was made up of found items…snow on the ground, a discarded hat, a few buttons, etc. Let’s make something magical of our own…My challenge for you today is to use the sketch below with only scrap papers (you can use one full sheet for your base). Also use one or more frames and enamel dots or Nuvo drops.
This sketch is awesome because you can use scraps of papers to create a background of any shape you want! I went with frames and scraps from the first collection kit I ever purchased! I don't think I even had the equivalent of a full sheet of 12 x 12 paper left but it really felt like I did some magic with what I had left!

Here’s my example:
