Simon says use this . . . Simon says use that. . . Join us all month long as "Simon" commands us to use so many fun and exciting things on our creations.

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

My favorite photo is this most recent family photo shoot of us with our Grandchildren.
My favorite color is red so I colored in the heart on my quote
My favorite quote is Grandchilden fill a space in your Heart you never knew was empty. Anonymous
My favorite embellishment is jewels. I love the bling look in different colors.
My favorite technique is an old one where you make a slit in the paper and fold it back to expose the back of your pattern paper. Add another scrap of paper and line it up with the edge then place brads on the folded back portion to hold it in place and get this cute look

3. Use a favorite quote: what I used was on the sticker: The days are long but the years are short.
4. Use a favorite technique: use cardboard packing behind photo to lift it off the page. I did this with the second photo
5. Use a favorite embellishment: buttons
