Do you toss or save extra pics that don't make it to the scrapbook?

I have four boxes of pics from 1978-2010 That need to just go but I have a hard time letting go of the younger pics of my kids so I decided to go through them and save the good ones in large manilla envelopes and give them to them now! so they don't have to find them when I am in Heaven looking down on them!

I have managed to toss some but it's just so hard. I have lots of slides from my parents and I can't seem to let go of them. I made some of them into photos but will probably end up tossing them eventually.

I have scanned old photos onto my computer. My mom did the envelope thing with our old pictures. If I have scrapped the pictures and I have duplicates I throw the dups away.

I save them, but I'm not the best role model...

When I am scrapping when I have duplicates or photos, I do not want to scrap I throw them away. But I still have lots of photos in boxes and in photo albums

I toss the dupes and only keep the ones I want in album's. The blurry ones, etc. get tossed
