When I think of magic, I think of Harry Potter. My husband, girls, and I loved to watch Harry Potter and get whisked away into the magical world of Hogwarts. When the final Harry Potter book was released at our local Barnes & Noble, we went to the release party. Booksellers sorted all the children at the event into their Hogwarts wizard houses. My daughter, pictured here under the sorting hat, was placed into Ravenclaw where she, to this day, shares with pride to fellow Harry Potter aficionados. For today, I challenge you to create a project featuring something you or a loved one is extremely proud of. Maybe it's getting sorted into your wizard house like my daughter was? Perhaps you could do a project about someone you love graduating from school or a program they worked hard at pursuing? Or maybe it's a garden or art project you worked hard at cultivating or creating? As an added twist, I used the Harry Potter "Deathly Hallows" symbol as a guide when placing the patterned papers on my layout. I challenge you to follow the pattern as well (found below). Finally, Hogwarts Houses show their pride by flying banners of their house colors & symbols. My final challenge to you is to add a banner somewhere on your project. I can't wait to see your Harry Potter inspired layouts!
Here is the Deathly Hallow symbol.

And here is my project.
