You Can Do Magic
“Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to the magical world of Cookin' up Creations. . . Join us all month long as we amaze you with our trickery & slight of hand fun! Lots of magic here! Prepare to be amazed!”
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
The Merriam Webster Dictionary defines sleight of hand as: a cleverly executed trick or deception. Your magic trick today is to:
-use the sketch provided; you can use both sides or just 1 side. I used the right side
-use something not in your sketch room and ink to create a background pattern. I used the circle background of a sticker I put over the drain in my shower
-use several clusters of buttons, jewels etc to draw the eye in various places on the page as to distract you from the magic trick. I used real buttons and some sticker buttons
-have fun. Your magic trick should bring pleasure to you and those that will see it in the future
