A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....



For today’s magic challenge we will do a disappearing act! Use some hidden journaling on your layout, mine is the tag with the yellow thread.
Also create an illusion like faux stitching, sticker mixed media, or faux leather. For mine, I used Washi stickers to add the colored ink spots and the circle stains.
For the final touch, use some thread or fibers on your page.
For my example I used some pictures of me with 2 of my scrapbooking friends. We got together at our local Starbucks for a little scrappy time!

Thank you Phillis! The sticky notes on the table is an activity Starbucks was having. It was to leave a note of kindness. Since we’ve been reading Jordan Peterson’s 12 Rules book, we wrote some of the rules from his Quora list. Fun times!
