Join us all month long as we pay homage to all things associated with the culture and history of America . . . whether it be apple pie, hot dogs, or baseball . . .we each have something that makes us feel nostalgic and proud of our great USA!

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

Today’s challenge celebrates the timeless beauty of Americana decor. I’m inviting you to create a scrapbook page inspired by the warmth and nostalgia of Americana, incorporating weathered wood, rope or twine, and gingham patterned paper.
For my example I used 2 pictures of my beautiful sister with her granddaughter.
