Friday, July 20 - "Free"dom

Join us all month long as we pay homage to all things associated with the culture and history of America . . . whether it be apple pie, hot dogs, or baseball . . .we each have something that makes us feel nostalgic and proud of our great USA!
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing)
When I think of Americana - Red, White and Blue I think of all the wonderful freedom we have here. So let’s do some freestyle doodling on our pages and use a bunch of different colors. And as long as we’re celebrating let’s throw in some stars!

Leslie, this is too cute! I love the polka dot buttons, the torn paper waves, the clear colorful paper clips, and (always) your handwritten journaling!
