Have you ever met

someone in real life that you first met on the internet, a scrap site or other thread that you contribute to?
1. Yesterday I had the privilege to meet a friend I met on a scrapbook retreat zoom in 2020. She was traveling through Salt Lake with a mini coup group. She lives in Illinois. We have continued to meet up in zoom anytime there is a retreat some of them are doing. Even if I am not doing it they still include me in their zooms. There are about 7 of them. It was sooooo fun!!
2. Years ago we went on a trip to Niagra Falls. One of the ladies in the forum mentioned that she lived near there in Canada. We made plans to go out to dinner but they fell through so we drove to the scrapbook store that she worked at and surprised her.
3. A few years ago I went with DH on a road trip to Bend Oregon. We got together with a girl and her hubby and went to dinner and then the nite glo of a balloon fest. It was so fun to meet up.
4. Lots of years ago I met a friend from my group from Idaho when she came in town to see her grandkids.
5. a couple years ago we drove to Ogden and met a girl I had been talking online with for years (before Facebook existed) It was a nice drive and fun to meet up at her house. I delivered a box of my giveaways from cleaning my scrap room. Although she hasn't scrapped lately we still visit on a forum of less than 20 of us.
6. I have also met lots of girls that have come to attend retreats in Utah and I have many friends now that I see all the time on facebook.
