Americana - Red, White & Blue
Join us all month long as we pay homage to all things associated with the culture and history of America . . . whether it be apple pie, hot dogs, or baseball . . .we each have something that makes us feel nostalgic and proud of our great USA!
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
When I think of the Red, White and Blue of our country I think of summer picnics. The food, family and friends, games etc. I think of the blanket on the grass or on the sand at the beach with the paper plates filled with food and kids playing games. For my challenge I'd like to see a picnic on your page:
Blanket: a large square or rectangle
Paper plates: circles
Celebratory items: balloons or flags
Most of all have some fun creating your picnic page
I made this page to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. We went out to dinner at the restaurant of his choice. I still need to add my journalling.
