Think back to when YOU first started scrapbooking. . . do you have anything left from that time period? Who or what was your favorite manufacturer, tool, technique. . . .are they still around, do you still love the technique . . . .

Creative memories was the first scrap "class" I went to. I loved it. My style has certainly changed from solid backgrounds and oval matted photos with stickers on the page. I still have my oval CM cutting tools and the circles. I use the circles often enough, but not the ovals. The hexagon punch was also an early purchase and I still use it often. I might still have some paper that I bought then (about 20 years ago)

I started scrapbooking when my kids were little so before the acid free days. I also got into it heavy through Creative Memories. I am still friends with the consultant from all those years ago. Does she count as a tool? I have the border templates that guide you to cut a curve or wave, a straight edge, a zig zag and I can't remember the fourth. I also have a LOT of old paper still ie Making memories, rusty pickle, snap n scrap. More recent DCWV paper pads.
