This is Kathy Carr - I am 63 years old, a wife to Dennis, mother to two grown children, grandmother of one. I retired in 2019 after 36 years of service with a municipal government as their Finance Director.

I have been scrapbooking in one form or another since my 10th birthday when our neighbor gave me a blank album and told me to include photos and ephemera and doodles. I have been obsessed ever since. So far, I have 97 12x12 albums completed along with 25 mini albums. Besides paper crafting, I am an avid reader reading about 200+ books a year.

As a military brat growing up, I lived in Japan, Germany and Italy. I flew back to the States to attend college and stayed in the Quad Cities (Moline, Illinois) until we built a house in 2023 in Blue Grass, Iowa. Yes, the new house includes a large crafting studio!!

I also LOVE to travel - we are attempting to visit all 50 states. In August we will be flying to Anchorage, Alaska and doing a two week road trip for our 30th wedding anniversary.

I went to Anchorage, Alaska and did a 5 day road trip in 2020...what an amazing state. I went in March (my hubby and I were in Seward when the world shut down) and enjoyed the beautiful snow but I would love to go back in the summer to see it all again!
