Monday 6/3: Sketch & Lemonade

Join us all month long as we pay homage to the tiny creatures responsible for pollinating the flowers, fruits, and vegetables that we all know and love . . . and let’s not forget about the sweet, sweet honey either! Bee-lieve me, there are SO many fun challenges coming your way this month!
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
When I think of bees, I think of lemonade. I don't think there is anything better at a summertime festival than a lemonade. And where there is lemonade, bees are close by! I decided to feature this throwback photo of my daughters and their BFF selling lemonade on our street corner when they were tiny. One of their grandparents got them this authentic lemonade stand, and they were so excited to try it out. My challenge to you is to not only use the sketch found below (since it is Monday Sketch Day) by the talented Kristine Davidson, but also feature a picture of your favorite drink. Perhaps it's lemonade in the summer (like mine), or your morning cup of coffee? As an added twist, add a few extra circles to your project to symbolize the edge of a glass, cup, or mug. I'm excited to see your creations!
