Ring Around the Rosie. A Pocketful of Posies. Ashes! Ashes! We ALL Fall Down.
Join us all month long as we post challenges focusing on the Circle and all of the Beautiful Flowers out there.
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing)
For this challenge we’re going to make a faux scalloped border out of circles as you can see on the left side of my photo and I added a couple of flowers to the top and bottom of the photo for my posies. Along with that you’ll need to have a large title and some kind of background work. I used a star stencil and gold paste and added some gold stickles.

How did you make those circles? Did you cut 2 circles and put one inside the other to make the black boarder or use ink on the edges?
