I thought of the mother bird Alice encountered in the Disney version of Alice in Wonderland and used photos of a bird that came to visit with some of my husband’s family.

My repeat pattern was circles in the the polka dot paper and the paint splatters. I also repeated the banner tails on my sentiment “Happiness & Sunshine” and on two vertical pieces of patterned paper.

From Patti's linked list is a "fish-footman," so I went with a fish on my page. :)
I've been wanting to document my picky eaters - my husband and son - and how they've gotten better/more willing to try new things through the years. The tag has detailed journaling about their old habits. But long story short, now they actually really like to eat sushi, which is a surprise + a relief for my daughter and me...because it's another restaurant option for us!
The repeat pattern I used is the scallop die: I wanted it to represent water/ripples for the fish to swim in.
