We're still chilly up here. In the high 50s and low 60s but it's been cloudy most of the day. Now the sun is out and it's windy at 6:30. Our sun won't go down tonight until around 10 PM and it will be almost full light by 3 AM! We don't get the no darkness in the summer and no light in the winter, but we do have very long summer days and very short winter ones.
We haven't been sleeping well either. Seems to be going around... Went to town late afternoon because we needed a couple of things. Steve dropped me at the grocery store and went to the hardware store but they were already closed.

I wasn't able to get milk either. We often run out here. The barge comes in on Tuesdays and it's not uncommon for a lot of things to be gone by now. But usually they have some smaller containers of milk. NOPE! Not even the single serving ones!!! They had a couple of fat-free, and lots of specialty milks. So I got a half gallon of half & half and some eggs and bread. Then we got dessert to go from our favorite café. Wish we could have stayed for dinner but until I'm done with the tests my allergist ordered in a couple of weeks I can't risk getting the virus. I've been waiting since OCTOBER last year to see an allergist! The only one is in Anchorage which is 1,000 miles from here. They didn't have any appointments open down here until after the first of the year and I had an appointment in April and then the virus hit and that was that. So I've had 2 video appointments and they've changed a couple of my medications but I'm still miserable all the time. At least the changes have helped me not need the nebulizer every day though! So I'm really hoping they can help me! I have to go over to Ketchikan which is a 3 hour ferry ride each way and now they're not running every day again because of the virus. The allergist wants me to have some pulmonary tests done before I see her so I had to schedule everything at once so I wouldn't have to make 2 trips. I can't get the pulmonary tests until I've had a virus test that's negative either. So I'm not going to church or anywhere until after all this is over! I can't risk it! We've only had 3 cases on our island and everyone is healed, but with all the seasonal workers and the tourists coming now I can't risk it. I have gone to the grocery store a couple of times but I wear my mask and I wipe things down well with the wipes... So I will be in Ketchikan staying with relatives for the last week of June. Thankfully I have people to stay with!
Anyway, hoping to play this afternoon and then again tomorrow and maybe Monday too. Got about half of our laundry finished (DH's laundry is all done!) so I need to keep working on that now that the washer's fixed!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
