Join us all month long as we focus on some of the world’s most famous product mascots - anywhere from the Michelin man to the Pillsbury doughboy. You'll never know WHO your CHALLENGE Team will pick for you . . . just know, they're all gonna be GR'R'REAT!

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

Today’s food character is the Jolly Green Giant, the mascot for The Green Giant Company. In 1925 the company introduced a larger variety of peas called “Green Giant” and created the mascot to secure their trademark.
So for this challenge, you’ll need to use lots of green, a big circle and some leaves.
