Washi Tape Help

Post by Tracey »

So I have lots and lots of Washi Tape and right now it sits in a plastic container and I have to empty it every time .... as the tape I want always migrates to the bottom.

I need some ideas on how to make it function and look nice.

I keep mine in a drawer but I also have three long skinny plastic organizers that hold 12 -14 rolls. I also have one that is like the scotch tape holders that holds four and you just pull them and tear just like a regular roll. I'll try to take pics in the morning in case this is too confusing.

I have several rolls myself, and never wind up using them for the same reason. . . . .

I do have a clear paper towel rack screwed into the wall where I have several rolls already there hoping that easy access will allow me to "possibly" use them. . . I picked out a few of my favorites.

I like those plastic baggie things Tamara. Where did you get them?

I have a washi/ribbon box. It is a plastic box with 3 trays that have dividers the size of the American craft ribbon spools. It is about 12 x 12 and has more than enough room for all my tapes and ribbon spools. I'm not sure where I found it.

I made several organizers using plastic wrap/wax paper/ foil empty boxes. I covered them with pattern paper and the rolls fit in there perfectly.

Depending on how many you have.

You could re-purpose a coffee mug tree

a Kuerig cup holder

a thread organizer

and embroidery hoop

a pant hanger

a jumbo notebook ring

Since I don't have that many rolls and I'm already limited on space, I like the jumbo space saving rings.

They are from the scrap rack. I got them at JoAnn with a 40% coupon. I think scrapbook.com has them too.
