RQOTD 1-13-26

Post by Patti »

I can't believe we are almost halfway through January! What kind of month is January for you...a cleaning--get organized, a rest--recover from holidays, a shut down--snuggle in and read/scrap, or a get away from it all--travel?

It's a Spring clean up month. I bought new rugs for our bathroom and what a world of difference. Plus I mopped the floor on my hands and knees. Not a good practice but better results.

For me it has been rest and recover and dr’s appointments. I would like to snuggle, read, and scrapbook.

I've been working on organizing leftover ephemera, stickers, etc. Still have the Christmas decorations up. Dr. appointments as usual....Chemotherapy was on the 5th and I'll have a Pet Scan at the end of the month. Good news...we finally have oil drilling on the homestead property so we just received a nice check that I'll share with our kids/grandkids. It's just sad that Mom and Dad aren't around to finally see this.

Holidays were hard this year, so I’m going with recovery. Even more so this year since I was home alone with a dog that had a stroke on Thanksgiving morning.
