Good morning everyone. Sorry I've been MIA. What can I say, LIFE.

I'm getting ready to head out in a bit to do a little retail shopping. Nothing extravagant. I'm completely out of a few things I need. I also want to run in Ollie's again, Hobby Lobby, IGA for meats and grab some lunch while I'm in town. Basically, I just need an outing for my sanity.

Another hot one here today! We just got our electric bill and wow, it went way up this month! Dh goes to the pool most days and the water temp is about 98, not refreshing at all but he goes to relieve his back & leg pain.
No place to go today and that suits me just fine. My layout is finally coming together and I'm hoping to finish it today.

I slept in today.... until almost 10. Watched some of "Call the midwife" while I was eating breakfast. I finished loading the dishwasher and have that running. Then when I went upstairs to get dressed: I cleaned the bathroom upstairs. It smells nice and looks better
Now I will have some scrap time. Hubby and I are going grocery shopping sometime later this afternoon, after he gets home from work

Jan that sounds like an amazing day!

It is a stay at home day for us today and I am here for it! I need to visit a neighbor who fell and got a black eye. She is 87 and the cutest lady. It has been in the triple digits so far this week. I think I'll stay in the basement where it is cooler. last night I decided I want some summer dresses for Disneyland so I may be shopping online for a bit. When I walk I always have one hand on my hip so my pants won't fall down. Plus my concentrator over my shoulder and that creates an uncomfortable way to walk. It dawned on my yesterday that I should avoid that and just go with some dresses. My DIL said that it would be cute to be FLO to be in a mint green dress with a white apron for our Halloween Bash party. DH is Ramone so she will find him a purple jacket and put decals on it.
DH is working tonight so there will be scrap time.

Work for me and then dinner at Olive Garden with Garrett. . . we're home now, and I just finished helping Jackie pack some as her and Austin and the kids are heading to North Carolina / South Carolina for the week . . .the house is going to be nice and quiet for a change.
