Sunday May 25

Post by phillisw »

Good Morning. The sun is shining and my yard needs mowing. I worked on mowing yesterday for a while until the rain started. Then I worked on uncluttering my scrap closet. I found things that were needed to be thrown out and some things I moved to a new place. I still have much to do in there, as it is also our closet. ;) That being said I will go back in there this afternoon and work on it. I will also scrap some photos. I have photos from our last cruise with monkeys crawling on us and I must not have printed them. I'll look again as I organize today. I would also like to get a walk in, if the sun stays shining. I did exercise on the elliptical last night, but I do love to be outside when the weather cooperates. We've had so much rain.
Do something fun for yourself and with someone else today.

Good Morning!

It's a sunny day here but we're supposed to get rain later on. Hopefully it'll cool us off but probably won't! No real plans for today other than some laundry. Started a lo yesterday so hope to finish it today.

Church this morning and kids to dinner today. I'm making death by chelate for dessert today so I hope the younger boys like it. We are pretty much having a bar b due, hamburgers, corn n the cob, chips and salsa and watermelon. No doubt they will at least like the meal. I got all the dirt I wanted under my backyard tree yesterday and I can honestly say I am too old for that kind of thing. It killed my back. There was some prep work and lifting or trying to lift the heavy bags was a struggle. I am a bit sore today. I'll do the flowers in a week or so and then it should be beautiful!!
Our weather has been amazing so at least it wasn't too hot.
Found out last night that the Netflix show Equalizer is leaving June 15th. WHAT???? We are only in season 2 and they are 18 episode seasons. We still have season 3 too. We plan to watch two episodes tonight and then every chance we get we will just have to watch that every time and push through. Did we just find it late? Because we never saw it pop up until when we started to watch it.
Happy Sunday!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is having a Memorial Day weekend. It has been very chilly here in Ohio. It feels more like October than May. I'm hoping for a major shift in the weather pattern soon. Other than shivering, I have spent the weekend doing laundry and catching up on scrap projects. I guess that's the good thing about cooler weather. It makes staying inside much easier.

I hope you all have a good start to your week!
