Upcycled Jeans

My favorite pair of jeans ripped in the back next to the pocket and I want to upcycle them something similar to this.



What do you think is the best way to do it? Stitching or fabric glue?

I would probably first try the fabric glue. If that doesn't hold, then stitching.

THOSE are fantastic! I would stitch it because I don't trust the glue and the edges have a tendency to come up.

wow, that will be a project. I hope it is a fun project. I would sew them. Some may need to be hand sewn.

I would use Beacon Fabric-Tac Permanent Adhesive. Add some stitching for decorative elements. This glue is fast drying and will not come off....ever! I have learned from experience when TSA threw it back into my suitcase without putting it back in the plastic bag. I used it in place of sewing machines when traveling internationally. It's a bit pricey compared to other fabric glues, but it's the best I have found.
