Dec 4 - Elf

Post by Tracey » Tue Dec 03, 2019 8:31 pm

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' Up Creations Gallery.

Prize will be a $10 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

*Any month that we have more than 50 completed layouts/creations, the prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate instead of $10.

For my Christmas Movie I have picked "Elf" an enchanting movie about a human growing up as an Elf, he is so full of love and Christmas Cheer that it bubbles out of him.

For the challenge I want you to draw inspiration from the colours on the movie poster of Elf. So a layout of predominantly yellow/gold, green and red (not counting the base colour). You can have other accents of colour but the main colours need to be the three of the poster. If you decide not to scrap a Christmas photo the you subject of you layout must be very joyous.

Here is the movie poster for inspiration.
