Cookin' Up Creations

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Wednesday and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations.

Prize will be a $10 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

*any month that we have more than 50 completed layouts/creations, the prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate instead of $10.




Start with a food picture of any kind. What inspires you? color, flavor, embellishment,# of food items, etc go with whatever jumps out at you. In my photo I used the bag of Cheetos to bring out the pop of color. Orange! I centered my layout around the color orange.

Wonderful challenge, Tamara! I love the idea of using color as your inspiration. The challenges have all been so inspiring this month...simple but leaving a wide area for creating cool LOs. Everyone has kept me excited for the next challenge.

Food that inspired me was a Rallys meal! I used the colours/prints of the restaurant and the actual food

I used a grid and cake as my inspiration!
