July 2020 - Chef of the Month - Krystle Thomas

Cookin' Up Creations is pleased to announce that our "Chef of the Month" for July 2020 is our very own . . .Krystle Thomas!
Krystle has been a Member of the Cookin' up Creations community for several months now, and is actually a departing Member of our very talented Challenge Team. She's brought many challenges to the board over the past few months, and has helped get the Cookin' up Creations name out there!! Thank you Krystle for promoting us and tagging us in all those Instagram posts!
So ladies, let's put the SPOTLIGHT on her this month!

What do you enjoy most about scrapbooking?
I love everything, really. I really enjoy doing it, I love the supplies, and preserving memories is important to me.
How did you get started?
I don't remember exactly how I got started but I was only a teenager!
Any advice for the new scrappers out there?
I would spend time figuring out what you love by looking at other crafters before investing in supplies yourself.
Describe your style, your scrapping place, and your favorite products.
I have a mostly clean and simple style. I like to scrap in the living room while I watch TV. I love patterned paper!
What and/or Who inspires you? Do you find that it changes? Where do you get your inspiration from?
I am inspired by a variety of other scrapbookers. I usually find layouts from online galleries, blogs, and pinterest.
What types of challenges do you find "challenge" you the most?
I like sketches, many of which give me a different direction for my layout than I might ordinarily consider.
What do you do for a living?
I work in the legal field. I have been working from home for the last few months, which has had its ups and downs.
Describe your perfect day.
Ordinarily I would choose a relaxing day at home, but since I have been here so much I am dreaming of a relaxing beach day in Hawaii.
What's your favorite indulgence? Snack?
My favorite indulgence is dessert generally, especially ice cream. For a snack, I like fruit or chips.
What's one thing you would like to learn that is NOT scrapbook related?
I would love to learn how to scuba dive.
What's your favorite layout and why:
It's hard to choose a single layout, but this one is a favorite of mine. I love the soft colors, the mix of patterns, and the adorable subject matter!
