Chef of the Month - December 2019 Beth Camp

Post by tammyfolk »

Cookin' up Creations is happy to announce the December Chef of the Month - Beth Camp!

I met Beth several years ago (and if I'm not mistaken) before we actually made the move to Pennsylvania. Beth has been here at Cookin' up Creations since pretty much the beginning. . .supporting the site, and doing her best to spread the word!! Rarely there is a month that goes by that she doesn't complete ALL of the challenges that are posted, and she's always willing to help whenever/wherever needed.

SO this month I'd like to recognize her as Chef of the Month. . . .

Please help me Congratulate Beth as our Chef of the Month for December 2019!

Bio:

Hello fellow scrappers. My name is Beth and I live north of Williamsport, PA. I am the mother of two man sons. One is 45 and one is 29. I have one grandson who is a senoir this year! Hard to believe! My youngest son lives with me and my 4 labs. I have two nine year old black labs, a 5 YO chocolate lab and a 3 YO yellow lab.

What do I enjoy about scrapbooking?

I find scrapping very relaxing and I love making an awesome completed page from just paper and embellishments.

Describe my style:

I usually just go for it unless I am using a sketch. I do like to try new techniques.

My current favorite products:

Well Stampin' Up! of course. I have been a demonstrator for 19 years.

What inspires me?

Normally the photo is my inspiration. I find TONS of inspiration here in this group. I probably would not scrap as much if I did not do the challenges here.

Describe your scrapping space:

Well I own a 3 bedroom ranch across from my home that is mostly used for my monthly stamp clubs. I do have an occasional Pink Zebra or Norwex party over there. However, my neighbor Melody and I usually scrap there a few times a week.

What do you do for a living?

I am a retired Special Education Teacher. Now I make some extra money doing my Stampin' Up! Card Making and Scrapbooking clubs and selling Pink Zebra.

Describe my perfect day.

A perfect day for me is being able to be outdoors doing pretty much anything. I do enjoy being outdoors in all seasons.

My favorite indulgence:

LOBSTER!

What is one thing you would like to learn that is NOT scrapbook related?

I would love to learn how to do the decorated cookies with royal icing.

Favorite Song:

Please Remember Me by Tim McGraw. My mother asked my son to sing it at her funeral so he and I did. Very emotional. She also has "Part of you lives in me" from the song on her tombstone.

Favorite Movie:

Not much of a movie/TV watcher. I guess I would say Wizard of Oz.

Favorite Ringtone:

None really, I just use the standard one on my phone. Have not really played with that.

Favorite layout and why:

I love this one of my mom. Miss her dearly but we sure talk about her alot, and have many of her recipes.
