Winter Wonderland Dec. 2: Let it snow....

Post by BarbP » Sat Dec 02, 2017 3:51 pm

Join us all month long in December as we post challenges based on the wonder and beauty that is Winter.!! Everyone is welcome to play along!!
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Wednesday and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations. The prize will be a $10 Gift Certificate to the online store of the winner's choice.

"In the meadow we can build a snowman...." One thing I miss about winters back in Illinois is seeing snowmen. We do get some cold weather and snow here in southern Colorado, but rarely is there enough snow in our city to build a good snowman; and it usually melts by the next day. So... for today's challenge I want you to build a snowman on your layout, 2 cards or other project. Your project should also have some sparkle and a title.

I made two cards using Crate Paper's "Snow and Cocoa". Both cards have a snowman, a bit of glitter and a title:

Please upload your completed entries into the gallery and here in this thread by Jan. 3. Each completed project gets you one entry into the prize drawing. Have fun! Can't wait to see what you create :)

Thank you, Tammy and Lolis! I love the Snow and Cocoa line; I had some last year and used my $10 gift certificate from last month's challenges to get more!

I have snowflake sequins for my pop of sparkle but they are really hard to see on the LOs.

I made this cute Snowman Tree for my Stampin' Cottage. Starting tonight I am collecting mittens, gloves, hats and scarves to donate to my local Elementary School. There is glitter on the tree skirt and on the sign.
