A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

The Merriam-Webster Dictions defines it as:
1 : materials concerning or characteristic of America, its civilization, or its culture. broadly : things typical of America
2 : American culture
3 : a genre of American music having roots in early folk and country music
I think of all the travelling our family has done in America. We have travelled by car and by plane to many states to see sites, parks, zoos, museums and monuments. I chose a photo of my family when we went to Boston and went on a Duck Tour. It was a vehicle that rode on the road and then into the water and back out. The tour guide was telling us about all the sites we were seeing in Boston.
For my challenge I want you to share something about America. A place you have been, a song that has meaning to you, an American tradition you celebrate etc. Be sure to tell us what in Americana inspired your page.
Include some stickers since we stick together as a family when we travel.
Include gems to represent the places that are gems that we travel to see.
Also, have some fun along your travels to create your page.
